Today is just my 2nd day of orientation at Sunway College. It's pretty fun with wickedly funny lecturers, crazy smart classmates and to talk to people with big dreams. Previously, whenever I told someone that I want to study in USA, they will be like WOAH! Then think "Rich kid lor"
But now, I met people who are planning to go to places like Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, MIT... and there is no awkwardness when sharing your hopes and dreams. and the best part, they don't judge you for what you think. People in the program are kids who really want to study and are not here just for fun, cos A levels is not easy.
Anyways, just the 2nd day.

R.I.P. STEVEN PAUL JOBS
Steve Jobs is dead.
Let me rephrase that, Steve Jobs passed away peaceful surrounded by his family and friends.
Yesterday. I still can't believe he is dead.
He passed away on the 5th Oct 2011 in the U.S. but 6th in M'sia
I was playing my piano, and my mum interupted me. She asked me, 'Who is Steve Jobs?' with that 'I think I've heard he's name before' look. She asked 'Is he from Apple?'
I saw my mum's expression and I was like "Yes, he's from Apple. He's the co-founder and ex-CEO of Apple.Why? Is he dead? Yes he's from Apple, is he dead?"
YUP, HE'S DEAD
I heard an bomb explode. HE CAN'T BE DEAD,ya'know....He's just one of those people that are so 'Godly' that you never thought that they could die. But I kinda had it coming cause he did take a lot of medical leaves and resigned.
He definitely changed my life.
PIXAR & DISNEY. PIXAR is my favourite animation studio and I had watched all of the PIXAR movies for at least more than 5 times each. and i love all of them

My first encouter, personally, with an Apple product was when my dad was working outside of his company with a man from India. He had two sons. One was playing with his PSP and the other with his iPod touch.
Thinking back now, I'm kinda surprised that they actually lend it to my brother and I to play with it. He refered to the iPod touch as iTouch. At that time, we recently purchased a GPS, which was very uncommon at that time in M'sia. So I took the 'pen' included and started tapping on the screen of the iTouch but it wasn't working. Only them I figured out that you could only use your fingers but at that time, I had no idea why until years later.
And so I spent the later years convincing my dad to buy me a iPod touch. But I got a laptop instead. I was 12, and in Form 1.
I wanted a MacBook White, but got an COMPAQ instead. Was dissapointed but there's an upside to PCs, you can play pirated games on it.
Throughout lower secondary, I wanted a iPod touch but my mum said that a iPhone would be much more useful and worth the money. So I continued my convincing and it still didn't work out.
I was kinda giving up on asking my dad to buy it and was secretly waiting for someone to give it to me as a gift. that someone meaning Yeni Wi. the girl who had 'connections' to the people in 1,Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California.
Last December my dad was working ( and still is ) with a man from Turkey. He promised my dad that a iPhone if he did a good job. And he kept his promise :)
My dad is more of a NOKIA guy. He just needs a phone that can store contacts, calls and text.
So.....HE GAVE IT TO ME !!!!!!
I got my very own iPhone! though it was a iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 4 was already out then. but still
I FINALLY HAVE AN iPHONE!
Then there was this thing, called the iPad. At first I thought, what a stupid name! TechnoPad....
I thought that it was useless. And it didnt have a camera.
So I waited....and waited...and waited...( I actually didn't have to wait that long )
I got my iPad 2 in June'11 from Switch in Gurney Plaza, Penang. Thanks to the sales guy Anis.
and ordered my red smart cover online :D
So, my conclusion is,
Steve Jobs changed the way I see this world. He changed my life forever. I can't imagine the world without him. He is truly the Da Vinci of our time.

once I was sick, and it felt like there was something sucking out my energy, like harry potter-voldermort-death eaters-dementors kinda stuff.
ergh
someone save me from this gruesome place....
anyways there's this girl in my new school, lets call her Jessica. ( i dont wanna mention her real name, just in case anybodys reads my blog, even though i know no one would )
Jessica brought mash potatoes to school and I was like " why are you eating mashed potatoes for recess? isnt it kinda early?"
and Jessica was like " Oh, cause I wanna lose weight."
and I was thinking in my head, doesnt this moron knows that potatoes are considered as carbs? it can still make you fat. But I guess it doesnt matter cause it makes her THINK she's losing weight.
I asked her "so is eating potatoes for recess working? "
and she was like "YES! I HEARD ABOUT IT SOMEWHERE. ITS AMAZING! YOU SHOULD TRY 'EM"
wow, the magic of psychology.

My master has gone to meet the kangaroos and koala bears.
I'm truly a dog now.Just eating,sleeping and pooping.
hehe :D Im reading Confessions of an Air Hostess.I really like their lifestyle
God, I have my piano class tomorrow! I totally forgot about it! I've got like 3 pages of theory.Ergh,I hate counting the notes.I hate whatever that's gotta do with numbers and counting.I wonder how many brain cells I kill every time I count something.
I'll just have to spend the entire day tomorrow doing my theory : so I better finish my book now,or else I'm not gonna be able to concentrate on my theory

PMR!
Ms Wai and Ms Yin cried......almost everybody cried
we watched "I'm Sorry,Teacher" really touching, but I've watched it for like 10 times so I din't cry
then the teacher was like "when was the last time you told ur mum thank you????!!!!
the girls beside me were crying....(the lights were switched off )
then there was a video by ms Wai and Ms Yin....I cried FOR THE 2ND TIME THIS YEAR
then we went on stage to give Ms Wai and Ms Yin a hug.......more tears......
both of them are so nice to hug,I wanna hug them again!!!! maybe after I get my PMR results :)

You told me "you can't trust anybody in this world".At first, I refuse to accept this fact,but then after watching many tv shows (liar game) and also many other people learning this fact the hard way I started to accept this fact.

-birthday,my dad sent me flowers.....totally weird yet funny coz according to my friends, someone was holding the flowers outside for a very long time ( u could've dump the flowers there u idoit)
-sold the CR-V that I chose when I was like 4 years old...sad....haizzz.... (24th July)
-grade 6 piano exam :( it went kinda bad (27th July)
straightened my hair for the first time

Sleepless Nights

I usually like the rain and the cold, but I don't like the rain today.
It's kinda hard to breathe in.Its all stuffy and wet and....ergh
Can't sleep at all, the lightning & thunder keeps waking me up
Thought of reading the book that Chand borrowed me that would help me go to sleep,
but I got boring so I turned on the laptop.
My bro slept at 8.30, mum slept at 9 so its pretty quite
I missed Glee....aww....

I din't go to school 'cause I have a "serious" sorethroat
I sat on the dining table and finished new moon in one day

I skipped Chinese class today,for the very first time,BUT I did it because I had other important stuff to do
I went to the phone,"Mum, I'm coming home now."
"How are you coming back?"
"Chand's car" (btw,thx 4 the ride)

I compared the writings in Bahai,Christian and Islamic books.Everyone of 'em described the end of the world in a different way.
They all describe the kind of END OF THE WORLD in movies.
Bahai books said that "it would be the end of an era, but not the end of the physical world"
so in my imagination,
humankind would be gone, and Earth would recover or maybe another planet could support living things and then there would other living things starting from scatch again.
BUT my dad argued with me and said that humankind would'nt end cause the book said that "it would only be the end of an era" and I was like humankind might be gone forever because the book says " it would only be THE END of an ERA
like the dinasours was and era
humankind is an era
so what's next?

Friday Nights

Tired~
I've been so tired lately
I din't know that forcing myself to laugh could be this tiring...
Forcing myself to laugh is a waste of laughing cells but if I don't people might think that I'm crazy
NO LMAOs AT ALL SINCE LAST MONTH
I thought that maybe going to work might help a bit with the whole no laughing sickness, but I don't think it worked...
Possible reasons:

Chandele's BBQ Birthday Party
Wow....the party was AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well...not at first...its a long story.
1) I needed to rush back from tuition
2) My dad scolded me for not wearing something 'decent'
WEARING JEANS AND T-SHIRT TO A BIRTHDAY PARTY IS D-E-C-E-N-T!!!!!
he was like expecting me to wear a dress and put on makeup
I MEAN A DRESS!!!! what?!? you want me to wear a pink dress??!?!!!
and makeup?! omg..u gotta be kidding me-I THINK MAKEUP IS DISGUSTING
3) reached there, im late
4) its started to rain
5) CHAN MEI QI couldn't find Chand's house, and she kept on calling which was really annoying
Chand had to run for like 3 Km to guide Mei Qi. and she RAN IN THE RAIN
6) Chand's Ah Gong started shouting-which freaked me out coz he shouted real loud and it was
raining heavily-AND I COULDN'T CALL CHAND!!!!!!SHE WAS MISSING!!!!
7) got inside of the house, Jia woon that gang was so noisy and I got really frustrated
BUT HERE'S THE GOOD PART
-We started dancing around to Lady Gaga,Akon and a whole bunch of other stuff
-Played lots of games
and i have to say, CHAND, U HAVE THE BEST AUNT/ORGANISER EVER
I stayed back there till 11pm
phew...tired......oh and one more thing...

Movies!
Gosh, went to watch 2 movies today..so damn tired
Where Got Ghost
It was really funny....and really scary too.....
It has a really good balance between comedy and horror
but there's a moral of the story which I really like
1)Small detials can cause catastrophic
2)Evey shortcut has its price
3)Health and safety is more important than wealth
My father made me hafal all of the moral values....*_*
Aadhavan
Its a tamil movie but I don't understand tamil so I din't really enjoyed it
but the plot was really nice
Aadhavan is like a secret agent but you don't know whether he's the good guy or the bad guy until the end
Its really touching..the relationship between he and his father
but at the same time its really funny! Although I din't understand the joke, but the funny faces that they were making really made laugh my guts out :D
Really enjoyed today...and went with a few guy friends ;)
